They cut his show from 2 hours to one. After he left I think they cut it from two shows a week to one, although I might be wrong. I know fuck all about fishing, but he was a genius broadcaster.

Don't usually listen but by chance I did today. Jim White with Bob Mills (is he permanately pissed?) and instantly forgetable ex~player were banging on about the violence at the Chelsea game.

I gave up on Talk Sport because all I get in my car in most areas is a lot of static or of course that might be Andy Jacobs moaning about everything and anything, but mainly I stopped listening because of the non stop adverts with their annoying tunes which these days seem longer than the actual shows!!
Agree re Mike Dickin used to love listening to his show. Hawksbee is ok although I detest Jacobs. Gough is a twat and Durham the same but they are good at what they do. They are paid to be controversial and stir people up so they phone in so job done if they get under your skin.

Durham and Gough are particularly odious.

And how many times does Jim White need to say his own name on the radio. Had a listen yesterday and he must have said his own name 20 times, not including the pre and post advert clips also saying his name. Extremely egotistical
